For this assignment, we were supposed to take 15 shots of an object, which was going to be our character, and we could have a maximum of two characters, and tell a story in those shots. The project was in pairs, and I worked with a classmate.
We approached the development, first by finding a star on my bag (which I didn't know was there), and then by starting to think what kind of story we could tell. We wanted to do something that we could tell through photos, that wasn't super boring, creative, and inspiring. We decided to tell the story of the star, which at first was struggling with school, and then it fell, and a hair tie saved it, while it broke.
I think we could improve next time at choosing the shots, because I think that we could've told a much better story if the angles were the right ones, I feel we cold've transmited more feelings, and also a clearer story. I think we did a great job on the over the shoulder job, because we can see just a little bit of the star, and it is blurry, and we see a tree behind it, so the audience can expect that something is going to happen with the star. Also the two shot, because we can clearly see the broken hair tie, and the star with a shok face, because it could've died, so I think this makes a kind of connection with the audience.
